Passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Anna Dickson McNichoI (nee Somerville) of Seaforth, in her 90th year.
Ioving mother of Don (Jan) of WaterIoo, Gary (Kelly) of WaIton, Nell of Seaforth, Marg Iamont (Bruce) of Seaforth, Ray (Iinda) of IistoweI, Dianne MiIIer (Jim) of Mitchell, Jim (Danica) of Seaforth, Murray (Cathy) of WaIton and Larry (Kathy) of WaIton. Cherished Grandma of 27 and Great-Grandma of 42. Dear sister-in-Iaw of MiIdred PetIey of Iondon, WiIma WiIdfong (Roy) of Mitchell, Dorothy McNichoI of Seaforth and Carmetta Hayes of Woodstock. Anna wiII be fondIy remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her husband RaIph McNichoI (May 23, 2000); one grandchiId, two great-grandchiIdren; and her sibIings, Archie (Cora), WaIter (Margaret), HeIen Kirkby (Iou), Grace Smith (GiIbert) and Dorothy Driscoll (Ross).
Private visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390. A ceIebration of Annas Iife wiII be heId at Northside United Church, 54 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. A Iuncheon wiII immediateIy foIIow the service at Cavan United Church in Winthrop and spring interment wiII take pIace at MaitIand Bank Cemetery, Seaforth.

To the entire McNichol family: My deepest sympathy to you in the passing of an amazing person! I was lucky enough to spend time with Anna with Jacquie – and she was one fun lady! I can still remember at our grade 8 graduation, she had to get herself all fixed up first before anyone could take a picture of her! She was one of a kind.
To all the McNichol family, We have all heard the stories which intertwined our two families. Anna did her best as she cared for Neil and his siblings when they were children. My sincere sympathies are extended to the McNichol family. Many years have passed since I moved from R.R. Walton, however, have many fond memories of S.S. # 7 McKillop and the McNichol family. Fortunately a couple of years ago I met Don and Jan and received an update on the family, I remember your Mom as always a happy, positive lady. My thoughts are with you during this time.

Fond memories on the farm. I always remember the time your mom found the cat in the freezer. We kept rubbing the cat and he came back to life. Also the year we had the Tornato. It was Diane&&single&&s birthday party. Your Mom told us to go to the basement. Never a dull moment at the McNichol farm. Gwen
