At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, December 9, 2002 Dr. Angela Armitt of London at the age of 88. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Eileen and Clarence Haskett of Lucan and Ann Armitt of Florida. Dear aunt of Allan, Nina and David Armitt; and Nancy and Steve Turnbull, Bill and Sue Haskett and Brenda and Gord Moon and their families.  Predeceased by her brothers Alban and George Armitt and sister-in-law Helen Armitt.  Angela will also be missed and long remembered by many, whose lives were influenced by her during her many years with the Faculty of Part-Time and Continuing Education at the University of Western Ontario, her enthusiastic speaking commitments throughout the country, her participation in numerous boards and foundations, her love of sport and travel, her pride in her Irish heritage or watching sunsets at her cottage in Highlands III, Grand Bend.  Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13th at 11AM with Rev. Bruce Pocock officiating. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
