At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site, Cornwall on Thursday, December 6, 2007.  Albert Allan Elliott of Long Sault in his 84th  year.  Life friend of Joan Evason of Long Sault and by a previous marriage, Ruth Elliott of Exeter.  Dear father of Colleen Elliott and Bob Rowe of Hensall and Jan and Bill Riddell of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Cherished grandfather of Shannon and Jeff McGavin and great-grandfather of Jacob, Mackenzie and Teegan McGavin. Dear brother of Gloria and Neil Foster and Leonore Elliott all of Woodstock. Predeceased by his son Stephen Elliott, grandson Todd Rice and parents Ernest and Julia (Pekeski) Elliott. Al will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Al’s life will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Saturday, December 15th at 11 AM with Rev. Gary Alcock officiating.  Cremation with interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Toronto at a later date.  Donations to Veterans’ Affairs would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences may be forwarded through www.haskettfh.com
