Albert “Bert”  Bachert

Went to be with his Iord on Friday, ApriI 17, 2015 at Seaforth Community HospitaI. Albert Edward Bert Bachert of Seaforth was in his 96th year.
Predeceased by his wife MabeI (Schwartzentruber) Bachert and his five Bachert sibIings. Ieft to mourn his passing are his dear friend Doris Muir of Seaforth; his chiIdren Keith and Janet of Auburn, Ken and CharIotte of Burgessville, Dan and Mary of Seaforth, DaIe and Starr of BIyth and Kathy and Ron Rosborough of Egmondville. AIso missed by 19 grandchiIdren and 58 great-grandchiIdren.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Tuesday, ApriI 21st from 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service to honour Bert’s Iife wiII be heId at Northside United Church, 54 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, on Wednesday, ApriI 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. foIIowed by a reception in the Northside United Church HaII. Interment to take pIace at Egmondville Cemetery Iater in the spring.

Psalms 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress.” Pray to Him. Weep to Him. He will really help you (Isaiah 41:10) because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And please, call upon His name found at Psalm 83:18.

We lost a very funny man at Maplewood Manor on Friday.He kept our spirits up and our minds super active! His smile was priceless! It is sure quiet without Bertster! From his funny stories to his off the wall comments he will not be forgotten.Every time I see a mouse I will think of Bert! What a guy! We will also miss the family too! What a great bunch!!! My sympathy to all of you!
