Coz Carole is a person to remember and smile. As a child, I remember her books and papers spread all over the Ping pong table in Vivian & Earl’s basement, while studying for her nursing exams. There is a photo of Carole as a young woman on the beach at Grande Bend still studying while at play. Hard work, intensity and focus, Carole always made you smile with her vitality. I never saw her without a smile. To Jim & Family, we were all blessed, and thank you

Condolence from Daina Brown on July 13th, 2019 12:49 PM

To the McVicar Family: Jim was my Grade 6 teacher in the early 1960’s at Riverside Public School. At Christmas time he organized a hay ride for the class and brought his lovely new fiancée Carole with him. She was so nice and so pretty. To a romantic 11 year old girl they seemed like the perfect couple. By all accounts in the messages above, my young impression turned out to be correct.
Sincere condolences to the family and especially to my teacher, Mr. McVicar.
