We remember when she came to Toronto and married the love of her life, your dad and Opa, in our parents home in the livingroom, We have good memories of visiting you all on the farm when you were little. Later, your parents often came to Brampton when my parents moved to Holland Christian Homes.
You were very fortunate to have a mother who loved Jesus and tried to live her life for Him. This will be a great comfort to you all to know she is happy in heaven with her Lord and other family members and friends.

We only heard yesterday, and unfortunately were not able to come by to see you. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. I have lots of memories of Janet ever since I was a child, way back. We told our kids last evening, Maranatha and Caleb have memories of Janet and Peter babysitting them they said, and of visiting. John and I have enjoyed many visits over the years also. Janet had a very good heart, and would always stop and talk, asking how everyone was. I will miss her.

Our sincere condolences to the Van Strien Family – Pete , children and grandcildren.
I remember, as a young girl, I visited Janny and Pete at their second floor apartment in a farmhouse. This was before Janny and Pete had children. I enjoyed several summer days in the country which was a treat since I lived in the big city of Toronto.
Janny loved to give the Hoeijenbos family materials written by Oral Roberts. I was always interested in reading about his healing ministry. Years later I continued to learn from Rev. Roberts since he was a prolific writer who shared from his heart . Thank you, Janny for passing on what you thought was important about different ministries and God’s Word.

Mary-Jo and families:
Our sincere condolences to you all. I remember how sharp and witty Janet was all the time……..she kept us girls in line. (Linda Murray, Mary-Jo and myself)
She will be missed for sure but I hope your memories of her will help with the healing process.
