Dear Wilma:I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I was a colleague of Wally back when he taught at W.C.I. I got to know him a little better than most teachers as he and I shared the teaching of the Classroom Driver Training. He did the auto mechanics part and I did the rules of the road. I remember Wally as essentially a quiet man who did things without fuss or fanfare but he did them thoroughly. I am very sad to read that he has passed away but I have many pleasant memories of the days we spent teaching together at WCI. I taught there for 44 years before retiring five years ago. I hope all the cherished memories you and Wally shared over the years will help sustain you through these difficult days. As a Christian I take comfort in the certain hope that Wally is not really gone, he has just gone on ahead. John Shaw

Dearest Wilma, I’m still in shock from when you told me the bad news. My husband and children consider you two as part of our family, and to lose Wally was a great shock. We will miss seeing him and hearing his wonderful stories. He was a great guy and will be missed. We love you you both. Rest in peace Wally.
