At Stratford General Hospital, on Saturday, January 18, 2014, of Exeter and formerly of Kirkton in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Roger) Simpson for 56 years. Dear father of Rosemary Grant and Jerry Schram of London, and Paul and Angela Simpson of Stratford. Dear grandfather of David and Meagan, Matthew, Nathan; Sheldon, Lauren, and Abbi, and great-grandfather of Amara. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Barbara Carter of RR 2 Lucan and Peter Banks of Brights Grove. Predeceased by his great-grandson Tyler, sister Joan Banks and brother-in-law Clarence Carter.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main), on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Stratford General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
