Condolence from McCann Clann, Forest on May 3rd, 2012 8:30 PM

Caroline, we are saddened to hear of Peter’s passing. He was great with our kids, always sharing tips for tying their skates, theories for the changes on their blade edges and reasons why they should be caring for their own skates. He amazed them with his wisdom and sweetened them up with his candy.
Take care of yourself in the coming days and know that he will live on in the stories and tips he shared with our children over the years.

Sincere condolences to you Caroline and Family. I came to know Peter through his skate sharpening business. He was always a great story-teller and always knowledgeable about his craft. My daugthers did not want anyone else but Peter to sharpen their skates. Take care in the days and weeks ahead.

Caroline-we were shocked and saddened to hear of Peter’s passing.
We have wonderful memories of our time together on Alder Court, and Peter looking after the boy’s skates, as they learned to play hockey. Peter was a generous friend and neighbour, always willing to lend a hand, or provide some helpful advice. We will miss him.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

My dear Caroline: Bob and I send our deepest sympathies in the loss of your dear husband, Peter. We remember him fondly directing traffic at “The Promise.” He and Wes were great traffic “cops.” We were fortunate to meet him – we had heard our grandkids talk about the “great skate sharpener.” May God Bless you and your family.
