Marie and Family-Lorne and Myself are so saddened by Carl’s passing-You were the best neighbours we ever had when we lived in Huron Park.We watched as the kids grew up and the grandchildren. We always enjoyed comming to visit you-and as my health got worse-we seem to stop going to visit.
We will always remember Carl for making us laugh.

Marie and family: All of hockey is very saddened with Carl’s passing, Carl did a lot for referees and my Hall of Fame career. When referees were needed whether it was in Thedford for the Old Timers League or Rec. League or any area that he assigned including Parkhill, Carl was always there and, lined them up. Up until he gave it up in 2006. The area’s/systems that he looked after getting referees will remember him, especially Parkhill Silver Stick and, the various Rec Hockey Tournaments he helped get referees for. Any area referee or administrator respected what Carl did. Carl will be missed by all.

With out Carl’s encouragement I would have never kept with refereeing, for him I am very grateful. He was a great man and I will always remember that little chuckle he had. We have all lost a wonderful man in Carl. I was lucky enough to know him for a very short while, but I did see that Carl was all heart and caring. I mean who else would go out in the blizzard snow storms and blow our our driveways, and in summer seeing him riding on his mower with a smile on his face as he cut our back lawns for us.
I will hold his memory close to my heart and know I was blessed to know him (and you) for the short time I have. My heart felt condolences are sent to all of you at your time of loss. His was an amazing man, and you his amazing family.
