    Dearest Marie and Family,
We have all lost a wonderful man in Carl. I was lucky enough to know him for a very short while, but I did see that Carl was all heart and caring. I mean who else would go out in the blizzard snow storms and blow our our driveways, and in summer seeing him riding on his mower with a smile on his face as he cut our back lawns for us.
I will hold his memory close to my heart and know I was blessed to know him (and you) for the short time I have. My heart felt condolences are sent to all of you at your time of loss. His was an amazing man, and you his amazing family.
God bless all of you in your time of sorrow.
    Sonya King, x-Huron Park Resident.

When referees were needed whether it was in Thedford for the Old Timers League or Rec. League or any area that he assigned including Parkhill, Carl was always there and, lined them up. Up until he gave it up in 2006. The area’s/systems that he looked after getting referees will remember him, especially Parkhill Silver Stick and, the various Rec Hockey Tournaments he helped get referees for.
