Dear Bonnie & Scott;
I was saddened to hear of your dad’s passing. I will always remember him fondly and try. You might not know I was given my middle name to honour your dad.

There is a vacant spot at the Ilderton night social gatherings. Heaven has gained a cheerful face, a hearty chuckle and a story or three. May those left to mourn his loss be comforted by family, friends and faith.

Bonnie & Jim, Scotty & Cindy and family,
We are sorry to hear of Uncle Scott’s passing. We have enjoyed spending time with him at the McNair picnic and during social gathering’s with Mom and Dad’s bunch. He had the same sparkle in his eye that Grandma Hodgins did – which was always a delight and great memory for our Taylor. We will miss hearing of his outings with Aunt Donna, his laugh, big smile and his McNair flare. Keeping you all in our thoughts and Prayers.

Condolence from Bob and Nancy Manning on October 28th, 2014 5:00 PM

Bonnie, Scott and families: Our thoughts are with you all at this time. A great man has left us to be reunited with those who have gone before him. He was stubborn and fought to the end and taught us all about being strong willed and determined. It was great to have him join us for the Ilderton Fair parade and hear him call out to his fellow Shriners during the parade. We will miss him on Friday nights for dinner, but will know his spirit is always there with a story to tell us. He was proud of his family, especially his grandchildren and we know they will cherish all the family memories that have been created. We will miss him!

Scott was the most kind hearted person you could ever hope to know. He was so generous in sharing his knowledge and was always there with a kind word when you needed it. Scott was always smiling and it was truly contagious, everyone who was near Scott couldn’t help but to join in his happy, smiles. He has been a mentor to almost all who have followed him in the dog world and we can all rejoice in the fact that Scott will live on forever in all who he shared his vast knowledge and experience with. Our deepest condolences to the McNair family for your loss. Scott will be missed greatly within the dog community! He was, with Nora, a fixture at the Brantford KC shows for many, many years and it will be very strange not to see him there again. Scott was a man who could make every single person he met feel like they were special to him. His smile brightened the day and his friendship was valued. We will miss him.
