MCGREGOR Marion “Babe”

Peacefully, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, Marion “Babe” McGregor, passed away in her 96th year. Loved wife of the late Robert “Bob” John McGregor (1985). Dear mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Gladys McGregor of Hensall and Betty McGregor-Ehgoetz, of Stratford. Loved by her 9 grandchildren Chris, Gerry, Robert, David; Mary Jane, Stephen, Murray, Mark and Michael and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons Jim and Raye, her daughter Ila Mae and her sister Lila Jackson and her husband Harold.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King St. Hensall at 11 a.m. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Pastor Steve Hildebrand officiating. Interment Hensall Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hensall United Church or a charity of one’s choice.

Grant & Gladys I am very sorry to hear of Babe’s passing, brings back fond memories of my younger years spent with your family when Christine and I went to school together . May your fond memories of you Grandma and Mother heal your hearts !!
