Leslie (Les/Duffy) Northover

At LHSC-Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, January 2, 2012 of Lucan and formerly of Burlington and London in his 69th year.  Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Tuttle) Northover (2006).  Predeceased by his son Stephen (1969) and his daughter Michelle (2004).  Dear son of Thelma (Elliott) Northover of London and the late Les Northover (1991).  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Paul and Freda Northover and uncle to Mark of London. Brother-in-law to Jane and Victor Mancini of Burlington, Midge and Jim Dickenson of Middlesex Centre and Donna Brewer of Burlington and their families.  Les will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday evening 7-9 PM,  where a memorial the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6th at 11 AM.  Cremation with interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.

There will be a Lions Service in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30 PM under the auspices of the Lucan and District Lions Club.

Donations to the Lucan and District Lions Club or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

    Jim and I are neighbours from Burlington . Les and Pat were such excellent neighbours with a beautiful garden and a sweet dog Minnie. Michelle was always baking up a storm! Wonderful memories of a wonderful family. Les was always so upbeat . We were shocked to read of his passing today (Saturday). Our sincere condolences to the whole family, one he loved dearly and spoke of frequently. May you find comfort in knowing that the family is reunited once more and nothing can cause them pain or grief anymore.

He was a good Lion and he was so proud to be a Lion. Les was a great neighbour, always willing to lend a hand and was always so cheerful.We will greatly miss Les.
