Peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Saturday, October 31, 2009 Laura May (Govier) Sillery formerly of Exeter in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Edward Sillery (1969). Dear mother of Alma Davey of RR 1 Exeter, Dorcas Wein-Majury and Glen of Southhampton, Patricia (Pat) and Emil Hendrick of Exeter and Doug Sillery of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Susan, Janice, Keith and Kathy; Heather, Marlyn and Brenna; Julia, Jayne and Lisa; Darlene and Steven. Also missed by 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Carl, William and Albert Govier.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday evening from 7 -9 PM and on Tuesday, November 3rd from 9:30 – 10:15 AM where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul Ross officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to South Huron Hospital or Exeter United Church would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Rebekah service in the funeral home Monday evening at 6:30 PM under the auspices of the Exeter Rebekah Lodge.
