KINDT: Robert Julien of Sylvan

Peacefully, surrounded by those he laughed with, lived for and loved, at home in Sylvan on Friday, July 15, 2016, in his 85th year. Best friend and beloved husband for 60 years of Sonja (Geerts) Kindt. Lovingly remembered by his two daughters Deborah and Mark Darling of Grand Bend and Donna and Terry Spruytte of Guelph. Proud and caring grandfather to Brent, Toni, Breanne, Grant, Nicole and Danielle; leaving them with many fond memories. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital and CCAC Palliative Care Team who provided quality care and were a true blessing to the family. Special thanks as well, to their own families and friends for their support through kind words, thoughts and deeds. Cremation with interment Parkhill Cemetery.

A gathering to honour and celebrate Bob’s life will be held at the West Williams Community Centre, 32217 Kerwood Road, Parkhill on Thursday, July 28th from 10 AM until 12 noon with words of remembrance at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial donation to any Royal Canadian Legion, The War Amps of Canada, Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Bob zal herinnerd worden als een vrolijk man, altijd lachen, altijd optimist. Een intelligent man die veel bereikt heeft in het leven door hard te werken. Een levensgenieter vooral die de dag nam zoals hij kwam en die klaarstond om anderen te helpen, zoals mensen naar de dialyse te brengen.
Een man met veel liefde en respect voor jou Sonja, voor zijn twee dochters Donna en Deborah en voor de kleinkinderen. Hij was zo fier op jullie allemaal. Een warm man die alles kon schrijven met een kwinkslag, die zich zijn jeugd in Grobbendonk kristalhelder herinnerde, die zijn moedertaal nog perfect beheerste.
