Suddenly, at LHSC-University Hospital, London on Monday, December 12, 2011 of London and formerly of RR 3 Lucan in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Thomson) Lyons. Dear father of Dwayne and Dawn Lyons of Bryanston and Kory and Jen Lyons of Ilderton. Cherished grandfather of Nathan, Tysen and Darin; James, Joe, Nick and Jess. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Don and Diane Lyons of China, Dave Lyons of Fort Erie and John and Ruth Thomson of West Lorne. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Ila Lyons.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16th at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Interment Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

    So very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I assume it was quite sudden, and I know it has left you in shock as well as dealing with the grief. Having talked with Ken periodically in the last few years we knew he was trying very hard to take good care of himself and certainly admired his efforts and success at this. Unfortunately sometimes it just doesn’t seem to be enough although it probably did buy all of you a few more years together. Our condolences to you all, you have lost a wonderful family member.
