Janet (Thomson) Baker

At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, of Exeter in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Baker (1995). Dear mother of Paul and Brenda Baker of Victoria Harbour and Lynda  Baker of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Shelley and Rev. Kenji Marui, and Shauna Baker; Mark and Donise Baker, and Matthew Baker; and great-grandmother of Christopher, Samantha, Stephen, Reiko and Kai. Dear sister-in-law of Olive Thomson of Exeter. Predeceased by son David (1980) and a brother Jack Thomson (1969).

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, one west of Main, Exeter on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23rd at 11AM with Rev. Marybeth Wilson and Rev. Kenji Marui officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

Donations to Exeter United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Aunt Janet had so much energy……..seeing her walking uptown for groceries and she would never miss a beat. Remember all the happy times. Sorry for your loss.

Dear Paul, Brenda,Lynda and families,
Another chapter closes. Please accept my most heart felt sympathy, she will be missed. What a wonderful Wife ,Mom, Gramma, Friend and Aunt and without a doubt Great -gramma too. I have very fond memories of her. She lived a good life and I’m sure put her trust in Jesus. Even though it is hard right now, take heart that she is resting in the bosom of her maker at this very moment.
