Jan: I was so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. She was such a devoted member of the Exeter Dining For Seniors Group for several years. She had a lovely sense of humor and was always smiling and happy. I know she will be missed by her friends and family. I am thinking of you at this time.

Our prayers & thoughts are with you, at this time of sorrow while you celebrate Aunt Helen’s life. We have good family memories from the years that have past seemingly so quickly. Thank you for sharing the photo’s, they are a treasure. My brother Ralph & I often talk about the old times and how we miss seeing you all. So sorry to learn of your Mom’s passing. We miss her smile and her gentle laughter. She was a very gracious lady who could brighten ones day. We only met her in her later years so have enjoyed seeing the pictures of her and her life with her family in younger days. It was good to have known her.

Condolences to all of Helen’s family. I got to meet and know Helen while working next door to her apartment in Exeter. I remember intervening with her trek to the hairdressers one time and giving her a ride because she was determined she was going and I was worried she wouldn’t make it through the snow and ice while pushing her walker. One thing is for sure, she wasn’t going another day with ‘this hair’. She was a funny, feisty lady with a very independant spirit.

So sorry to hear about your mom Jan. We did not know what you were going through the morning you left Maple Leaf. I can just imagine your trip home. Again, so very sorry. See you in the Fall,
