Henk Brand

At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 of Exeter in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Betty (Luteijn) Brand. Dear father of Elisabeth Brand and Bert Beardwood of Orillia, Ann-Marie and Jim Kirkland of Hanover and Marilyn and George Lutchman of Sharon. Dear grandfather of Ryan, Jamie; Gayle, Jillian and Jaclyn. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Corrie and Martin Fischer of Maple Ridge BC, Hans and Nancy Brand of Crediton, Bert and Renie Brand of Exeter, Jim and Theresa Brand of Dashwood, Art Brand of Crediton, Tina Brand of Exeter and Rennie Brand of St. Marys. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Simon.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Bethel Reformed Church, 200 Huron Street East, Exeter on Friday, February 5th at 1 PM with Pastor Jim Vellenga officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

Donations to Compassion Canada would be appreciated by the family.

To all of you ……….Mom always shared updates of Uncle Henk’s health with us over the years, as she kept in touch through her many visits to the house and otherwise. Sadly, it is now that we extend our deepest condolences to you T. Betty, Liz & Bert, Ann-Marie & Jim, Marilyn & George and to all the children, at the passing of someone dear to each of you. Though it has been a long time since I had seen Uncle Henk, I’m glad to have many memories of him. Peace be with all of you… and take time often to reflect with fond memories and loving hearts………..
