FROATS: Marion (Stewart) of Lucan

At South Huron Hospital, Exeter, with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, of Lucan, in her 81st year.  Beloved wife of the late Gordon Froats (2001).  Dear mother of Brent Froats of London, and Sherry and Tom Bodkin of RR 4 Parkhill.  Dear grandmother of Brad and Jamie, Kent; Khielea and Mikaela, and great-grandmother of Logan, Maëlle and Danica.  Dear sister-in-law of Glenn and Audrey Froats of London, and Don and Bonnie Froats of Lucan.  Also missed by nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her brother Bill Stewart and his wife Joan .

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday afternoon 2-4 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating.  Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.

Donations to Lucan United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you over the loss of your dear sister-in-law, Marion. I have fond memories of Marion as she always had time to chat whenever we met. She was so good to Mom over the years, always stopping over for a visit or taking her some special treat she had made. Her and Gord played many lively games of euchre with my parents. I remember your mom at the apartment building. Doing the rounds. Checking to see if everyone was okay.
Seeing her and saying ” Hi Mrs. Froats” and she would say you know my name, it is Marion. And I would reply ” yes Mrs. Froats . She would just laugh at me. She will be missed.
