Passed suddenly on his 60th wedding anniversary, May 11th, 2017, at the South Huron Hospital. Bill will be forever remembered as a cherished husband by Joyce Duchesne (nee Rath), loving father of the late Gwen Duchesne and Joanne Pitcher, adored grandfather of Joshua Duchesne and Jeremy Pitcher, and favourite companion of his “puppy” Toddy.
Join us for a special service at the Veteran’s Memorial Branch #498 (Grand Bend Legion), 20 Municipal Drive, Grand Bend on Monday, May 15th at 2pm. Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220) entrusted with arrangements.
Donations to the Huron Shores United Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

So very sorry and sad to learn of Bill’s passing. Please know that Bill and I are thinking of you all at this sad time.
Bill will not be forgotten for sure ….especially that nice smile of his when he said “hello” to you.

Uncle Bill was definitely a treasure to all who were lucky enough to know him. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of spending time with the two of you Gwen and Joanne. Someone so special can never be forgotten.
