Tom was such a sweet man and we were certainly lucky to have him as part of our family when he and Dorothy were companions. He was such a kind and gentle man who loved his family very much. I am so saddened to hear of Toms passing. He was my birthday buddy! We even shared a cake at church a couple times. I always knew that after church Tom would come over to talk and ask about the children. Quite often there would be lots of laughter too. Tom was always concerned with how everyone was doing. He had a great smile, and that twinkle in his eyes when he laughed or had something funny to say was priceless! A wonderful neighbour and friend! I’m sure there is a big reunion going on right now in Heaven with all the Hern line amd Zion church members! Rest in peace my friend! You will not be forgotten.
