We shared a good visit last July overnight together at her house and a nice drive and dinner in Exeter. We enjoyed many telephone conversations over the years; the last as recent as January 18th.

We also shared many good times on the Cream Board when our husbands were both active members visiting many provinces across Canada.

Please accept our sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother. My favourite memory of her was, as leader of the Granton 4H club we asked her if she would come and demonstrate her cake decorating skills to us. She invited us all to her house and not only demonstrated, but allowed all the girls to try it on their own and served us a lovely snack afterwards. Such a gracious and lovely lady. Dear Kevin, Sandra and family,
I was very saddened to hear of the death of your mother (and also your mother-in-law). This must be a very difficult time for you and Sandra. My prayers are with both of you.
I don’t know if you know it, but Aleda made my wedding cake. It was beautiful and so special. I kept the top tier for many years and finally donated it in Kashechewan (way up north) so others could have an ornamental mini-cake when they got married. Something that beautiful was really appreciated, as was her talent. I’ll keep both of you in my prayers and thoughts.
Love, care and prayers,
Katherine Koper
