Dear Dot and extended family,
This is not what I expected, tomorrow 3 weeks ago I was visiting with your mother, and she was in good spirits. She was looking forward to celebrate Easter in her own home, with all her children and with good homemade scalloped potatoes. When I said my goodbye, we were talking spring and going for a walk (your mother in a wheelchair), so she could take a breath off fresh air and enjoy nature from up close.
We know that she is in a Better Place now, but that does not take the pain away from losing a mother and grandmother.
Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Shirley
