Beloved father of Joyce and John Morgan of Usborne Township, Larry and Gisele (Truchon) Ferguson of North Bay and Jim and Linda (Fleming) Ferguson of Hensall. Loving grandfather of Becky and Scott Simpson, Christine and Brian Merrigan, Monique and Georges Dubytz, Michael Ferguson, AJ Ferguson and friend Leah Bolton and Scot Ferguson and great-grandfather of Jesse, Stephanie, Ethan, Anna, Sarah and Felix. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Howard and Lorna Ferguson of Thamesford, Lloyd and Shirley Ferguson of Exeter, Velma and Grant Gowanlock of London, Jack and Elaine Kinsman of Staffa and Bob and Frances Kinsman of Hensall. Loved and respected by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret (Parsons) Ferguson and sister-in-law Mary Kinsman. Russell will be remembered for his love of a good visit, a fine meal, a well-played baseball game, snooker shot, dancing and the view from his window.

Born in Didam, The Netherlands on the 22nd of December 1913. He was the son of the late Johannes Damen and Maria Helena Menting. Predeceased by his wife Marie Banning (1970) and dear friend Annie Schoenmakers (1999). Dear father of Anne Van Sas (John), John Damen (Sadie), Bert Damen (Jeannine), Tony Damen (Carole), Bill Damen Jr. (Judy), Harry Damen (Sheila) and Mary Lee (Doug). Dear grandmother of Julie, Sarah, Georgina, Garrett, Anna Marie; Jasmine, Megan; Zachary and Alexa. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Fred and Marj Glover of Okanagan Falls, BC and Walter and Ruth Sereda and Bill and Olga Sereda all of Chatham. Harm (Harry) Marten Klungel

Passed away suddenly, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter in his 81st year. Dearly loved husband and best friend for 57 years of Ann (van den Heuvel) Klungel. Beloved father of Al and Christie Klungel, Aileen and Fred Knip, Peter Klungel and Sonya, and Eloise Klungel. Dear grandfather of Chelsea, Troy and Rachel Klungel; David, Michael, Nicholas, and Tyler Knip. Brother of Marten, Nico, Martha, Ida, and Aukine of the Netherlands, and pre-deceased by his brother Arend and sister Ineke. Harry was born in Winschoten, the Netherlands, son of the late Albert & Aukine Klungel (Buurma); emigrated to Canada with Ann in 1954. After working as a carpenter and a nurse, he continued in the healthcare field in 1964 with the purchase of Queensway Nursing Home in Hensall, and he furthered his business interests with the purchase of a number of apartment buildings. His desire to serve his community was realized when he successfully ran and became Reeve of Hensall in 1982 and served for two terms and upon moving to Exeter continued his public service as a town councilor. He regularly volunteered with several organizations. He had a number of varied interests which included reading, cooking, vacations (especially cruises), and his grandchildren.
