At University Hospital Bert Hamilton Zurbrigg of London in his 91st year passed away on February 26, 2009. Beloved husband of 68 years to Margaret M. (Coursey) Zurbrigg. Dear father of Kenneth (Jean Ann), Janet (Larry) Parsons, and Jane (Pat) Gudgeon. Dear grandfather of Paul (Jen), Ann (Steve), Nicole (Dan). Rob (Katie), Jen and Kate. Also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren and his sister Laurene (Winston) Shapton. There will be a memorial service at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Saturday, February 28th at 1 PM with Val Hodgins officiating. Donations to Rowntree United Church would be appreciated by the family.

Frieda M. (James) Stewart. Peacefully, with her family at her side at LHSC University Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Art Stewart. Dear mother of Sharron and Heinz Jansel and Jerry and Bev Stewart all of London, Shirley Stewart, Charlene and Ken Carruthers and Michael Stewart all of Ilderton, Brian and Alison Gailling of Mission, B.C. and Sheila and Brian Kelly of Nairn. Dear grandmother of Chris, Matt and Angie; Dustin and Jen, Rebecca; Tara and Andrew, Chad, Marissa; Reece, Liam; Tyler and Luke. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Fred James of London, Beatrice and George Lee of Ailsa Craig, Walter Gecas of Paris, Nettie Osmond of Ilderton and Gwen Miles of Ailsa Craig. Predeceased by a sister Violet Gecas and brother Bill James. Frieda will be sadly missed by all of the James and Stewart families. James Garnet Young

Peacefully with his family at his side at the Seaforth Community Hospital on Sunday, February 15, 2009 James Garnet Young of Egmondville and formerly of Exeter in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Laurena (Rena) (McNicol) Young (2008). Loving father of Norma Khan of Seaforth and Judy Damjanov of Beamsville. James will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Dale Jones, Kelly and Dan Morrison, Todd and Karen Jones and Adam Damjanov. Great-grandfather of Devon and Riley Jones. Dear brother-in-law of Kaye Cooper of Exeter, Bev McNicol of London, and Doris McNicol of Stratford. Predeceased by his daughter Joan, brothers Frank and his wife Margaret and Clifford and his wife Jean. Jim was a long standing member of the Exeter Legion R.E. Pooley Branch #167 and the Lebannon Forest Masonic Lodge #133 A.F. & A.M.  Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Wednesday, February 18th one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 1:30 PM with Pastor Mark Kennedy officiating. At LHSC-Victoria Hospital on Friday, February 13, 2009 of Lucan in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Marj (Brown) Hugill. Dear father of Donald and Lee-Ann Hugill of London and Heather and David Paul of Mississauga. Dear grandfather of Jordan, Christian, Ryley, Alex; Nicholas and Cassandra. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Leroy and Barb Hugill of Leamington, Larry and Bonnie Hugill of Seaforth and George and Nancy Brown of Clinton. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Don was very involved with Lucan Minor Hockey and the Shamrock League. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 16th at 11 AM. Interment St. Georges Cemetery. Donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be forwarded through www.haskettfh.com.

Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jean Noyes of London, Jean and Bev Hodgins of Parkhill, Jerry and Elaine Noyes of Lucan, Beth McRann of London and Betty McIntyre of Lucan. Predeceased by a son George Michael (1971), his parents George and Margaret Noyes, brothers Robert and Donald, sister-in-law Dorothy Latimer, brothers-in-law Gerald and Neil McRann and Grant Latimer. George was a proud member of the Carpenters and Jointers Union Local 1946, London, Ontario.
