Florence (Mitchell) Hodgins

Hodgins, Florence (Mitchell) of Centralia passed away peacefully in her sleep at Longworth Long Term Care, London on January 12, 2009 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth H. Hodgins (1984). Dearly missed by her children Eleanor and Imre Toth of Bolton, Massachusetts, Keith and Pat Hodgins of Georgetown, Cathy Pickering of Hyde Park and Marikay and Jim Files of Orillia, her grandchildren Kim, Randy, Natalie, Maureen, James, Chris, Sheryl, Jody, Mary Jo, Jim, Jennifer, Cara, Michael and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Ada Mitchell, brother Harold Mitchell and son-in-law Don Pickering. Florence was an organist and choir director at several area churches and taught piano to generations of students. She was a loveable woman, willing to help others when she had the strength. The family is grateful for the loving and excellent care provided by the staff at Longworth, particularly the Yellow Rose neighbourhood. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, January 14th at 11 AM with Pastor Bob DeGraw officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
