Jean (Alexander) Hern. Dear father of Cheryl and Arnold Redegeld of Exeter, Debra and Jim McCann of RR 3 Dashwood, Karen and Casey Zeehuisen of Exeter, John Hern and Bill and Stacey Hern all of Barrie. Dear grandfather of Todd and Kendra, and Garrett; Ben and Melissa, Adam and Krista and Jesse and Denise; Laura and Shaun and Mitchell, Sarah, Chelsey and Craig; and Maggie, Casey and Julius and his 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Alma Dobson and brothers Ward, Earl, Philip and Ken Hern. A memorial service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Friday, November 21st at 11 AM with Rev. Peacefully at the Exeter Villa on Friday, October 31, 2008 Emerson Penhale of Exeter and formerly Usborne Twp. in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Kay (Batten) Penhale. Dear father of Douglas and Julie Penhale of London, Brion and Sherry Penhale, and Mark Penhale all of Usborne Twp. and Sheila Penhale of Bayfield. Dear grandfather of Austin Penhale. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Eunice Munn of Hensall, John Batten of Exeter, Joan and James Andrew of Kitchener and Barbara Morrow-Batten of Ilderton. Predeceased by his brother Donald Penhale, sisters-in-law Mildred Penhale and Ola Batten and brothers-in-law Donald Munn and Bill Batten. Emerson farmed in Usborne Twp. his entire life and loved to fish and hunt every chance he got. Loving mother of Norma Khan of Seaforth and Judy Damjanov of Beamsville. Rena will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Dale Jones, Kelly and Dan Morrison, Todd and Karen Jones and Adam Damjanov.
