At LHSC-Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 with his family by his side, Roy Walter Davis of Arva in his 28th year. Beloved son of Edward and June Davis of Arva. Dear brother of Elizabeth of London. Loving grandson of Vi (Nana) Gleason of London and Peter Davis of Arva. Nephew of Jane Janzen and Norman Gleason both of London, Diane Davis-Miller and her husband Paul and Rita Davis all of Arva. Cousin of P.J. and Rick and Jetanne, Randelle and Jay. Predeceased by his grandfather Reg Gleason, grandmother Ellen Davis and his uncles Victor Janzen and Hugh Davis. Roy will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. A private family graveside service will be held at Vinings Cemetery, Thorndale. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Monday, September 3, 2007 from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the London Transplant Program, Lucan-Ilderton Jets or the Lucan Irish would be appreciated by the family.
