At LHSC-Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 with his family by his side, Roy Walter Davis of Arva in his 28th year.  Beloved son of Edward and June Davis of Arva.  Dear brother of Elizabeth of London.  Loving grandson of Vi (Nana) Gleason of London and Peter Davis of Arva.  Nephew of Jane Janzen and Norman Gleason both of London, Diane Davis-Miller and her husband Paul and Rita Davis all of Arva.  Cousin of P.J. and Rick and Jetanne, Randelle and Jay.  Predeceased by his grandfather Reg Gleason, grandmother Ellen Davis and his uncles Victor Janzen and Hugh Davis.  Roy will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.  A private family graveside service will be held at Vinings Cemetery, Thorndale. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Monday, September 3, 2007 from 4-7 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations to the London Transplant Program, Lucan-Ilderton Jets or the Lucan Irish would be appreciated by the family.  Haskett Funeral Home, Lucan (519-227-4211) entrusted with arrangements.

At LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Sunday, August 26, 2007 Andrew (Andy) De Boer of Exeter in his 77th year.  Beloved husband of Gloria (Pfeiffer) De Boer.  Dear father of Deanna Mae and Dan Winters of Chesley, Ann De Boer of Kincardine and Ken and Rose De Boer of Owen Sound.  Dear grandfather of Scott and Tina; Sonya and Jason; Ken Jr., Crystal and great-grandfather of Johnny and Tyler; Riley and Jamie; Tristan, Kaden and Layne; and Colton.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joe and Anna De Boer of Caledon and Fenna Hemrica of Grimsby. Also survived by a brother Sibele de Boer and sisters Jel van Dyk-de Boer, Coba and Kees Hotsma and Anna Sietsma-de Boer all of The Netherlands.  Predeceased by a brother Ralph.  Andy loved and promoted the white squirrel in the town of Exeter all his life.  A memorial service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Thursday, August 30th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating.  Cremation with intombment Exeter Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or South Huron Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
