Gerald Moffatt, a lifelong resident of Kippen passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his farm home on June 24, 2006 in his 79th year. Gerald was the beloved husband of Mary (Campbell) Moffatt for 45 years. Dearly loved father of Heather Moffatt of Bayfield and Melissa and Mike Wilson of Kippen. Loving grandfather of Wesley and Clayton Boyes and Nathan and Nicole Wilson. Also missed by Byron Boyes. Survived by brother Eldred and Dorothy Moffatt of Exeter. Beloved brother-in-law of Doris Anderson of Ridgetown, Joan and Gordon Anderson of Chatham, Kathryn Campbell and Donald and Janet Campbell of Kent Bridge. Also loved by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Esther Moffatt, brothers-in-law Lloyd Campbell and his wife Gladys and Fred Anderson. Gerald was a member of Huron Masonic Lodge #224, Hensall, the London Lodge of Perfection and Scottish Rite, Bluewater Shrine and Mocha Temple Shrine London. The funeral service will be held at the Kippen United Church on Wednesday, June 28th at 1:30 PM with Rev. Marybeth Wilson officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to St. Elizabeth Health Care, Huron Perth Lung Association, and the Kippen United Church would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Masonic Service in the funeral home Tuesday at 6:30 PM under the auspices of the Huron Masonic Lodge #224, Hensall.
